For my brownish “Parchment” collection I have created a series of outline drawings with a water-color feel displaying warm tones. I’ve sketched up fantasy themes based on inspirational images in the ports of glamour models.  Each contains an element of danger or hint of intrigue.  One incidental thread you may have noticed from my port, compared to traditional art, is the strength of women.  I don't have a great deal of acquiescing characters hanging on the pant legs of super-heroes.  Instead the models are the source of the story and power.   Women are beautiful but don’t always have to be an accoutrement to the main character like jewelry.  Perhaps another thread is that I'm from the Southwest and it is extremely dry weather here.  One gets to see every shade imaginable of the color brown when they view the landscape.  This is what inspired the brownish parchment creation.  I hope you enjoy the time I’ve put into these complex and yet very simple looking works.
